Standard MHFA (Accredited) Presented through the MenoCentric® Lens
A certified MHFA course delivered with additional context, discussion, and wellbeing frameworks relevant to women navigating midlife, perimenopause, and menopause.

Menopause and Mental Health.

Melissa Jane Di Mieri – MenoCentric® Mental Health First Aid Training

Melissa curated MenoCentric® drawn from her education, lived experience and career. She’s an Accredited Standard Mental Health First Aid Instructor, a Registered Nutritionist, and has undertaken additional studies focusing on women in midlife. Her work sits at the intersection of emotional well-being, somatic health, and evidence-based mental health education.

Through her MenoCentric®, Melissa brings a targeted lens to midlife women’s mental health in the workplace. This programme acknowledges that hormonal, psychological, and social transitions often collide during the peak of a woman’s professional life.

MenoCentric® MHFA + Wellbeing Retreat Experience

Where Mental Health First Aid meets Midlife Renewal A four-day immersive retreat combining accredited Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) certification with restorative wellbeing practices

MenoCentric® MHFA + Wellness Retreat blends accredited learning with restorative practice. It’s a four-day, hybrid experience where participants complete the Standard 2-Day Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) certification inside a setting designed for nervous-system recovery. Instead of cramming content in a fluorescent-lit room, we pair the national MHFA curriculum with space to breathe, move, reflect, and reset because midlife leadership deserves both capability and capacity.

Across Days 1–2, you’ll cover the accredited MHFA modules on depression, anxiety, trauma, and crisis response while situating those skills within the realities of midlife: hormonal shifts, cognitive load, and competing demands at work and home. Day 3 integrates the training and assessment with a practical wellness immersion, fascia release, yoga, somatic exercise, mindful movement, and nutrition for emotional regulation so the learning doesn’t just land in your head; it lands in your body. An optional Day 4, The Rebalance Day, consolidates recovery with workshops on sleep, stress, boundaries, and sustainable self-care.

The outcome is twofold: qualified MHFAiders who can confidently support colleagues and clients, and re-energised professionals with better stress regulation, empathy, and team connection. Participants consistently report renewed clarity and purpose useful on Monday morning and beyond. This model suits corporate leadership and HR teams, community and industry groups, and facilitators who want evidence-based training delivered in a human-centred way.

Accreditation is clear: the MHFA component is delivered to the national standard and leads to the Standard MHFA Certificate from Mental Health First Aid Australia. Retreat elements sit outside the accredited syllabus; they’re intentionally designed to amplify retention, self-awareness, and real-world application. Net effect: rigorous training, less burnout, more impact.

MHFA + Wellbeing Workshop (2.5 Days)

Empowering mentally healthy workplaces one conversation at a time.

Melissa Jane Life® delivers the nationally accredited Standard Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) course over two days, followed by a half-day Wellbeing Integration Workshop. Together, it’s a focused 2.5-day program that builds practical skills and protects your people.

What you’ll learn
Across Days 1–2, participants learn to recognise common mental health problems, start safe conversations, apply the ALGEE action plan, respond to crises, and connect people with the right supports. We translate theory into workplace realities—policies, referral pathways, and psychologically safe teams. Successful completion includes national MHFA certification.

Why this format works
Led by Melissa Jane Di Mieri, the training pairs evidence-based content with a wellbeing lens—acknowledging stress, hormones, and culture, including the midlife experience at work. The half-day workshop then grounds learning in practice with nervous-system regulation, gentle somatic movement, simple nutrition and sleep strategies, and reflective discussion. It helps your team help others—and sustain themselves.

Who should attend
Frontline staff, leaders, HR/WHS, educators, healthcare, and anyone committed to a safer, more supportive workplace.

Delivery available on-site across Victoria or at a designated venue.
